My two blue budgies(dark blue, light blue) had babies with dark+light blue mix, and one of them had his dads tail color, and one had light bluish-lilac color, but the rest were color variety like dad/mum, but the same dark+light blue mix on their bellies remained ❤

i had 2 albino budgies and they somehow escaped

We just got a new parrot. 2 months old. (Idk the species but it's bigger than the birds in the video, green and has a red beak). It's q very strange bird. It just sits in one corner of it's cage, and keeps grooming itself, or sleeps or just looks at us. But it doesn't move around the cage at all. And when we take it out of the cage, it goes right back into it and sits in that one corner. At first it wasn't aggressive, we pet it's head and beak. My maid fed it milk, and it started to go towards her 🥺. But continued the same behaviour afterwards. It has some bald spots around it's neck, in it's chest is a sac that got bigger once it drank some milk. It also did this weird thing a few times where it extended its neck upwards and just opened it's mouth without any sound, and then went back to grooming itself. Any stimuli we give it (petting, noises or even bird noises of similar looking birds at him, he ignores it and just goes back to grooming. It doesn't react to anything at all). We tried to feed it a small piece of a peach and it yanked it aggressively which was weird cuz it was being docile before. Idk it freaks me out but I want to get over my fear of birds but Idk how to get it to interact with me. If it was social it would've helped. I just got it today so idk if it'll change its attitude later. We just fed it so i can't get it to bond over food with me..

So then black faced budgie isn't the same as a melanistic budgie? I've seen some I think are melanistic budgies. I would think that might be confusing when the black face budgie is recessive.
